Birth Doula Package - Self Pay $1,000

This comprehensive birth support package is designed to provide continuous, compassionate care throughout pregnancy, birth, and the early postpartum period. My goal is to support you emotionally, physically, and informationally while honoring your individual needs and birth preferences.

During preganacy -

Free consultation to connect, learn about each other, and explore whether we are a good fit

  1. Three prenatal visits, thoughtfully structured to support your preparation:

    • Birth planning and preference discussions

    • Education on labor, comfort measures, and coping strategies

    • Preparation for various birth scenarios, including vaginal and cesarean birth

    • Creating a postpartum plan and addressing early postpartum needs

  2. Unlimited communication via call, text, or email throughout pregnancy for questions, reassurance, and support

  3. Assistance connecting with local and community resources, if desired.

During Labor /Birth -

On-call for your birth beginning at 37 weeks gestation

  1. Continuous, in-person labor support when requested at your chosen birth location:

    • Hospital

    • Birth center

    • Home birth

  2. Physical support using non-medical comfort measures, positioning, breathing techniques, and grounding practices

  3. Emotional support and steady reassurance for you and your support people

  4. Informational support to help you understand procedures, options, and what to expect

  5. Advocacy for your birth preferences, ensuring your voice is heard and respected

Postpartum -

Two scheduled postpartum visits, focused on:

  • Feeding support (breastfeeding, bottle-feeding, or combination feeding)

  • Emotional check-ins and space to reflect on your birth experience

  • Recovery support and newborn care guidance

  1. Continued support and communication surrounding your two postpartum visits to ensure you feel informed, supported, and confident during this transition

  2. Assistance connecting with local and community resources, if desired.

C-Section Support -

If your birth includes a planned or unplanned cesarean, support is still fully provided:

  • Emotional and informational support leading up to surgery

  • Advocacy for cesarean preferences when possible (gentle cesarean options, partner presence, skin-to-skin, etc.)

  • Calm, grounding support before and after delivery

  • Postoperative comfort support and encouragement

  • Feeding support and early bonding assistance in the recovery period

Additional Prenatal/Postpartum Visits -

Additional prenatal or postpartum visits are available if you feel you would benefit from extra support beyond what is included in your package.

  • Self-pay: Additional visits are available for $50 per visit

  • Medicaid patients: Up to 12 visits may be covered, depending on your individual plan

Welcoming a baby is a meaningful commitment, and choosing the right support is an important part of that journey. I understand that every family’s financial situation is different and I strive to offer flexible options whenever possible.
